The
yearly routine mammogram exam, on 5/14/01, was taken by Karen “Ukajo” Kay. The next morning, her doctor called and
said that a nodule was found in the right breast. So, per his request, an ultrasound was taken four days later. Several prayers were given on the behalf of
Karen. In particular, the prayer of
Ron , Buck-a-Roo Bob and Lester had
special meaning, and here is part of their prayer: Ron”…Father, may there not be anything Friday when the ultrasound
is given (I immediately silently said, ‘will not be anything’)”; Bob”…he needed
his clown Ukajo…no bad news”; Lester”…about satan raising his ugly head and
that Karen will be able to endure the situation”.
I
(Karen) didn’t expect any bad news. Of
course, there was some concern since close relatives, of mine, have had
Cancer. But, I was believing in God for
good news, and the report of the ultrasound was a wonderful report. The technician said that she did not see
anything but wanted to show the test to the doctor. Finally, she returned, and the doctor was with her. For a second, I thought “ought-oh” because
doctors don’t usually come unless there is bad news. This was not the case; he told me (and my friend) twice, “I
didn’t see anything”. I thought, “YES”
but said “thank you, thank you”.
Praise God and Glory to Him!!!
The
other special blessing, which I received this week, was a front-door ramp. Thanks toWBC, especially Lester , Bob and Ron.
