A Young Mother As I read the article "Soldier or Angel?" that Denise (Mickey) sent through the list, memories of a story that was related to me by two of my Oregon cousins came to mind. (I think that they knew the young mother.) A young mother was really stressed out from the woes of living. Taking care of her family, managing the house and daily living, in general. At the time she just didn't think that she could take it any longer, a knock was heard at her front door. When she opened the door, the lady (whom she did not know) told the young mother to rest while she cared for the children. The young mother accepted the offer and a few hours later when the young mother awoke from her nap, she found the house to be spotless, the laundry done and put up, the children bathed and fed, and dinner in the oven. Next, the unknown lady left the young mother to go on with the daily challenges. The young mother never found out who the stranger was. Life is a challenge but never give up. Galatians 6:9 says, "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not ."
