One’s Daily Life My personal philosophy is one’s daily life—words, actions and faith. A person knows in his heart the truth of "how" to live. This truth is expressed by a feeling/knowledge, reading the Holy Bible and receiving a personal word (rhema) from God and sharing with others, especially Christians. Hebrews 11:1 (KJV) says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." How encouraging! By heeding this verse, one can face any situation because God is in control…. just trust and obey. Two recent health situations, which I’ve faced, apply. As I was put to sleep for surgery on my right, broken wrist (10/27/94) Hebrews 11:1 came to my mind. I silently quoted it and said to myself, "Yep, I can’t do anything about it." The next thing I knew, the surgery was over and the bone was reset without any pins or metal hardware. Hallelujah! Praise God! Currently, I am waiting for my voice/speech to return to normal. The medical test on 11/10/97 confirmed overactive vocal chords, and treatment (no cure) will be performed by Botulinum Toxin Injections directly into the vocal chords. Again…. "Yeah, no surgery!" (God is answering many prayers and will provide the cure in His timing.) SO, KEEP THE FAITH AND TRUST THE LORD!! Karen Kay 11/11/97
